Rod Denhart passed away February 10, 2008 after a long bout with lung cancer. His loss was felt in every corner of the decorative plumbing and hardware industry. Rod's memorial service was attended by a standing-room-only crowd of industry professionals, who traveled from all corners of the continent to say their goodbyes and pay their respects to one of the great guys in the decorative plumbing and Hardware industry. Rod began his career as an attorney but left the practice of law to accept a position at Artistic Brass in 1973. Being a self-proclaimed natural people person, Rod was attracted to sales and marketing and was impressed with new design concepts.
During his nearly 40 years in the decorative plumbing industry, Rod made many friends. He spent 13 years at Artistic Brass after which he worked at Auburn Brass where he had an ownership interest in the company. Later, after working for the Andre Collection, Rod, in 2002 created Legacy Brass that continues to operate today.
